A new feature on roadworks.org, the local roadworks portal, means you can set up an email alert for future planned roadworks in your area in literally a few easy clicks.
The alert area is defined by simply typing a postcode, town or road, or even an electoral ward, parliamentary constituency or local authority.
The new feature builds on the search-driven email alerts capability we introduced a couple of years ago, but the functionality is now easier to use, more accessible, and - crucially - supports electoral geographic areas making it ideal for local councillors who want to be in the know about upcoming schemes and roadworks in their ward or constituency.
